Dalian, People’s Republic of China, 8 September 2015 – The World Economic Forum today announced its selection of Global Growth Companies (GGCs) for 2015, consisting of 132 of the world’s most dynamic and high-growth companies.
The Forum’s Community of Global Growth Companies brings together influential and fast-growing companies as innovators and market shapers, and supports their potential for impact in their region, their sector and around the globe.
This year’s GGC honourees represent a cross-section of industry sectors and share a track record of exceeding industry standards in revenue growth, promotion of innovative business practices and demonstration of leadership in corporate global citizenship.
Schandy (today Nodus) is amongst the honourees this year.
“When choosing entrants to our Community of Global Growth Companies, we assess companies on their business model, annual revenues and growth rates, executive leadership and market position. The 2015 honourees represent a dynamic group with clear potential to shape the future in different business sectors and therefore are a perfect fit for our GGC community “, said Olivier M. Schwab, Head of Business Engagement at the World Economic Forum.
The World Economic Forum recognizes new GGCs through a rigorous selection process. Candidates are drawn from a pool of highly qualified companies following a worldwide nomination process.
GGC honourees will join the GGC community in Dalian on 9-11 September. Convening under the theme Charting a New Course for Growth, the ninth Annual Meeting of the New Champions will bring together the Forum’s Members, Partners and all of its future-oriented communities to explore innovative and entrepreneurial responses to the new growth challenge.
